WHAT ELSE CAN WE DO?

1. So, you might just be looking at the website in the hope of finding something you want, without knowing what it is.

2. Or you might know just what you want and we might not have it on the website.

3. If it is the latter, we are more then happy to look for the object you want. As we have said before, we spend a huge amount of time searching the on-line auction houses and you might think that we are more likely to find it then you are (we certainly think so!).

4. We do have considerable expertise in recognising the quality of many lots and have a pretty good idea of what they are worth and, more importantly, what they are likely to sell for.

5. If you have a budget, that helps!

6. Clearly, if we have a buyer already interested, it allows us to be more generous with our pricing than would be the case if we were buying for stock.

7. Then the process would be as follows:

· We bear in mind what you want;

· When we find it, we will contact you and give you details of the piece and the price at which we feel we should bid;

· Having agreed that with you, we will bid;

· Whilst there is no guarantee of success, we have a relatively good success rate;

· If the bid is successful, the price will include our commission and delivery to you.

8. It goes without saying that the longer we have to search, the more likely we are to find the object. To find it might take some time, but as a general rule, you are likely to get the object within ten days of a successful bid;
