The wonderful Bezoar Stone

It being a Tuesday (not really relevant) I am going to suggest the Bezoar Stone. Every household should have one, the known antidote to all poisons (don’t actually try this at home). It comes from the intestinal tract of a goat and, as all readers will know, it is approved for use by Bathilda Bagshot in Harry Potter. Instances of failure are best demonstrated by Ambroise Pare experiment on King Charles the ninth’s cook in France in 1567. Ambroise survived, the cook not so much. The King got a new cook.
