STUNNING GLASS PAINTING 40X55 CMS

,This reverse painted picture of three women by a balcony is quite stunning, the women beautifully painted and very attractive in their marvellous silks.  It would almost certainly have been one of a pair originally and has sadly lost its other half, perhaps at the same time as it suffered its own damage.  You can see tthe breaks, happily to the background of the main scene, in the bottom left and top right corners which have been beautifully mended by Lizzie Spink of Merlin Glass Studio in Wiltshire with the technique used for stained glass.  The frame is original Chinese teak. £310
