Did you mind getting married?

The Girl Who Wouldn't Mind Getting Married

The eleven framed pages, including title page of The Girl Who Wouldn't Mind Getting Married by Harry Parkes, probably from the first edition of 1887 which lacked a publisher's and the author's name. We are not very keen on breaking up old books as a rule but these pages cried out for framing and hanging on a wall where they would best and most easily be enjoyed as fragile book pages began to suffer from use.  They have been framed as a set by QED Framing and we think the Victorian humour still strikes an entertaining chord.  £620
